Tornadoes have been known to hit every continent on Earth. Worldwide a tornadoes hits every 3 hours. In some areas tornadoes are so frequent that some don't even get reported but can still cause damage. This is one of the main reasons homes get destroyed because nobody can tell people to evacuate if they ahve no idea that a tornado is about to hit.
The US has the highest amount to tornadoes than any other country in the world. This map shows where most of the tornadoes are in the US. These types of maps change regularly because tornadoes can form anywhere in Kansas. Tornadoes also hit Southern Canada, Philippines, most of Asia and Europe, but the US leads with the most amount of tornadoes reported.
